I did leave a comment the other day...don't see it...must be doing something wrong. Hope you get this. Are you at Sharon's yet? Looks as though this hike was more arduous than the Presov one last year. Baci...Mom
@RaisedByWolves - the view from Koosah Mountain was pretty nice, actually. It looked like it might be a good place to get a cell signal, and since the map was still showing our location far offtrail in Sisters I really wanted to update it, but sadly just a voice signal but no data. For kicks, though, I thought I'd try sending a blog entry by SMS, which doesn't require the data network. Well I guess it worked, but it screwed up the order of my posts since I hadn't written the entries for Sept 1st and 2nd yet. I wish I had used the SMS to send "Day 16 - I hate hitchhiking", then "Day 17 - Lovely day in the Sisters Wilderness", then "Day 18 - Nice views from Koosah Mountain" and that way everything would be in order, and I could've gone back and elaborated on those entries at the next opportunity. Oh well, live and learn.
How's the view up there?
